As For Me
Welcome to my page! My name is Azita Mofidian, but my family and friends call me Azi (pronounced Awhzi). I am an Iranian American who has been living in California, since 1988. I graduated from UC Berkeley's School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences and also hold a Graphic Design degree from San Diego College. While my education is rooted in engineering, my heart belongs to art. Creativity is my passion, and I love expressing myself through writing and drawing.
I hail from the beautiful northern coast of Iran, near the Caspian Sea. I consider myself fortunate to have explored over 40 countries and to have lived as an expat in France, Denmark, Turkey, and briefly in the UK.
I embrace change and thrive on exploring new experiences. Personal growth and deep connections are essential to me, and I always strive to stay true to myself, no matter the circumstances.
In 2020, I took a leap of faith and stepped away from my corporate job for a while, uncovering my true passion for creative writing. I enjoy crafting short essays that reflect my personal experiences, including travel blogs, cherished memories, and valuable life lessons. My love for art spans all its diverse forms and cultural expressions.
One of my biggest epiphanies was when I stopped worrying about other people's opinions of me and how I choose to live my life. I have no regrets—only lessons learned that have shaped a better version of myself.
