Welcome to my page. My name is Azita Mofidian. My family and friends call me Azi [pronounced Awhzi]. I am an Iranian-American diaspora living in North Bay, California, since 1988. I graduated from UC Berkeley's School of EECS, and have a Graphic Design degree from San Diego College. Though I'm an engineer by education, I am an artist at heart. Creativity is my passion, and I love expressing myself through writing and drawing.
I am from the lovely region of the northern coast of Iran, near the Caspian Sea. I was lucky to have explored over 40 countries and live as an expat in France, Denmark, Turkey, and briefly in the UK.
I embrace change and enjoy exploring new things. Personal growth and deep connections are essential to me. Under any circumstances, I always stay true to myself.
In 2020, I left my corporate job and discovered my passion and a true voice in creative writing. I enjoy writing short essays about my personal experiences, including travel blogs, memories, and life lessons. I am deeply passionate about art in all its diverse forms and cultural expressions.
My biggest epiphany was when I stopped worrying about other people's opinions of me and how I chose to live my life. No regret but lesson learned for an improved me.
Thank you for being part of my journey called life.
Love and Light,
~Azi
